Messages
There are many interactive messages within CGM webPRACTICE. The most
common are:
- Informative/Confirmation Messages- These occur when CGM
webPRACTICE requires you to acknowledge or confirm the action. The
standard message options available are; Yes, No, OK, Save, Cancel,
or Proceed. Click the appropriate option to continue.
- Warning Messages- These occur to inform you to correct 'incorrect'
data that you entered in a field. The warning messages display immediately
after the incorrect data has been entered. You do not have to wait
until you have completed all of the fields in the window to find that
there are incorrect entries. The standard message options available
are, Yes or OK. Click the option to acknowledge the message and make
the correction.
NOTE: Because CGM webPRACTICE is browser-based, the pointer
automatically moves to the next consecutive data field after you acknowledge
the warning message. This limitation is due to standard Web page functionality
restrictions (just like you encounter on the Internet) and there is
no way to eliminate it. Click in the field with the incorrect data
to re-position the pointer.
