7.1.18 Service Pack Release Notes

• Move/Re-Build Transmission File (Billing, Insurance Billing Functions, Electronic Claims) - ***New Functionality*** - All clients that send Noridian Medicare Part B claims - Noridian is implementing a change in the values submitted in all inbound transactions as a result of the implementation of the National Provider Identifier. Currently you may be receiving 'warnings' on your confirmation reports since these changes will not be 'required' until October 2, 2006. Due to these changes, you will need to update the Electronic Claims Integrations for Form Type 30 and also your Medicare Insurance Carrier Code in the Insurance Carrier Table. You should NOT make these changes until Service Pack 7.1.18 has been successfully loaded.

• Print a Document (Schedule, Scheduling Printing Menu) - An error could occur if you were printing a document for a patient in the schedule that did not have a patient account number assigned yet. This has been corrected.
  
• Missing Superbill Report (Schedule, Scheduling Printing Menu) - An error was occurring each time you attempted to print this report. This has been resolved.

• Superbill Register (Transactions, Transaction Journals) - This report has been corrected so it will now print any superbill numbers that end with a period followed by numbers. For example, 55555.45.
