Edit Cancellation Journal

With the Edit Cancellation Journal function you can list any appointments that have been deleted or rescheduled and edit the reason stored, indicating why it was deleted or rescheduled.

Location Code Type the Location Code you want or select from the Location Code list. 8
Doctor Code Type the Doctor Code you want or select from the Doctor Code list. 5
Date of Appointment Type the appointment date you want or click the calendar icon to select a date. 10

After you have completed the required fields, any appointments that were deleted or rescheduled for the selected date(s) will be listed. If you want to edit the Resched/Delete reason, select the appointment by clicking anywhere in the row containing the appointment information.

After you have completed the required fields, the edited Resched/Delete reason will also be updated and listed in the Appointment Inquiry screen for this patient.

Patient Name This field is informational only.   30
Deleted/Rescheduled This field is informational only. A D will display if the appointment was Deleted, otherwise an R will display indicating the appointment was Rescheduled. 1
User Name This field is informational only. It will display the user name that deleted or rescheduled the appointment. 10
Date Changed This field will default to today's date to record when the reason field was changed. Leave the default date, type the date you want or click the calendar icon to select a date.   10
Resched/Delete Reason Type the reason the appointment was deleted or rescheduled. 40
