Emdeon Vision Integration

With the Emdeon Vision Integration function, you can store the Emdeon Vision usernames and passwords used to automatically log in to the Emdeon Vision web site from within CGM webPRACTICE. This integration is provided for clients who have claims processed by Emdeon. Detailed Emdeon confirmation reports are accessible only through the Emdeon Vision web site; CGM webPRACTICE uses these credentials to launch the web site automatically from Print Confirmation Report and Update Confirmation Report Inquiry.

NOTE: If you have multiple databases functioning under one Tax ID number, you will still receive your paper reports and this integration does not apply to your practice.

Upon accessing this function, a summary list displays the existing credentials for the current database:

The practice account displays at the top of the list in bold and does not show a name in the User Name column. The practice credentials are used when CGM webPRACTICE launches the Emdeon Vision web site automatically.
Below the practice row, each individual user account displays with the CGM webPRACTICE user code, printing name, and corresponding Emdeon Vision user name. User credentials are used when a specific user has been registered with Emdeon and you want them to log in to the Emdeon Vision web site with their own credentials.

To edit an account, click anywhere in the row. To add a new user account, click Add User in the Action Column.

CGM webPRACTICE User Name	Type or select the CGM webPRACTICE user code that this Emdeon Vision account belongs to. The user's printing name displays to the right of the field. For the practice account row, this field is not populated.	10
Emdeon Vision User Name	Type the user's Emdeon Vision user name as registered with Emdeon.	30
Emdeon Vision Password	Type the user's Emdeon Vision password. The password displays as dots for security. Any time the user changes their password on the Emdeon Vision web site, the new password must also be entered in this function to keep the automatic log in working.	30
Active	Select this check box to enable automatic log in to Emdeon Vision through the CGM webPRACTICE menus for the account. If you clear the check box, the account will still display on the summary screen but will not be used for automatic log in.

Action Column Functions

Add User - Opens a blank detail screen so you can add a new Emdeon Vision user account for the current database.

Initial Setup

A practice account is pre-populated with a temporary password.

The first time you access Emdeon Vision through CGM webPRACTICE, you will be required to enter the temporary password Welcome123 and create a new password.
After creating the new password, click the practice row in this function and enter the new password, replacing the temporary password.
If your practice has already registered with Emdeon, click the practice row and enter your existing Emdeon Vision username and password.

Keep the password in a separate, secure location for your reference.

Individual User Accounts

If you have individual users in your practice registered with Emdeon Vision, you can add them to this integration so they can automatically log in to Emdeon Vision with their existing username and password. Click Add User in the Action Column, select the CGM webPRACTICE User Name, and type the existing Emdeon Vision User Name and Emdeon Vision Password. To delete a user account, click the row to open the detail screen and select the Delete option.

NOTE: If a user does not have their individual Emdeon Vision information added to this integration, they can still be automatically logged in under the practice's username and password. If you do not want all users with access to the CGM webPRACTICE functions that link to Emdeon Vision to be able to access the Emdeon Vision web site, clear the Active check box on the practice row and maintain only individual user accounts in this integration.
