Maintain Dr Provider Numbers by Location

With the Maintain Dr Provider Numbers by Location function you can store insurance carrier specific provider numbers for your practice locations. You can use this function to review, add, change or delete a provider number for a specific doctor, insurance carrier, and location.

NOTE: The information stored in this table will not be pulled into 5010 electronic claims.

Upon accessing this function, the Maintain Dr Provider Numbers by Loc screen displays containing blank data fields.

NOTE: After you type an existing Doctor code, press the TAB key to navigate through this screen and view the Provider Number. If you press the ENTER key, the screen will save and refresh with only the Doctor code displaying. This is due to an internal programming requirement and cannot be changed.

Doctor Code Type the code you want or select from the Doctor list. 4

Location Code Type the code you want or select from the Location list. 20
Provider Number Type the provider number for this doctor, insurance carrier, and location. 20

Deleting a Dr Provider Number by Location
To delete a Dr Provider number, select the doctor, insurance carrier, and location first. When the Provider Number displays, confirm it is the one you want to delete and click Delete in the lower-right corner. The message 'This provider number has been deleted' will display.

Click History in the Action Column to display the change history for the currently displayed entry.
