Print Confirmation Report

With the Print Confirmation Report function, you can download and print confirmation reports for all claims sent to CGM US. These confirmation reports come through CGM directly from the insurance carriers and are not modified by CGM.

There are different methods of receiving your confirmation reports and it depends on your method of transmission of claims to CGM. If you send claims directly to a carrier, your method of confirmation retrieval will depend on the carrier's specifications.

When you access this function all available reports are downloaded and a summary screen of those reports display. The Print Confirmation Report summary screen displays the path where your confirmation reports are stored on the server. It includes the file name, the date the file was sent, the size of the file, the date the confirmation report was last printed and the user code of who printed the report. You can run this function as often as you like.

Action Column Functions

Select the check box next to the report you want to print and click Print in the Action Column to print the report.
Select the check box next to the report you want to delete and click Delete in the Action Column.
Click Refresh to check for new confirmation reports.

NOTE - Emdeon carriers only: A 'Claim Acknowledged by Payer' note will be entered in the patient's insurance ledger on the date that you download the confirmation report. The date posted on the note is the date you downloaded the report and does not necessarily mean that is the date the carrier received the claim. This note indicates the carrier received the claim but it does not eliminate the step of checking the confirmation report for rejections.
