Electronic Claims
The Electronic Claims menu provides the following functions for
processing electronic insurance claims:
Prior to using ANY of the electronic claims functions,
you must contact EMEDIX to complete the registration and enrollment process.
Electronic Claims submission is a method of filing insurance claims in
an electronic format, which eliminates the need to print insurance forms.
Electronic claims can be sent to EMEDIX or directly to the insurance carrier(s),
if they offer this service.
CGM US provides EMEDIX (an electronic clearinghouse facility) for the transmission
of electronic claims from health care providers to insurance companies
and third party payers. Any electronic claims received by EMEDIX are forwarded
to the appropriate clearinghouses or insurance carriers.
