Patient Hospital Rounds List

With the Patient Hospital Rounds List function, you can view a list of the patients currently admitted, add admitted patients to the list, and generate a report of hospitalized patients. You can also access this list under Reports.

Select the option to display rounds by Doctor or by Location

Doctor / Location

 Depending on the option you selected, the Doctor list or the Location list displays.
 
Doctor - Type the Doctor code you want or select from the Doctor list.
 
Location - Type the Location code you want or select from the Location list. Type an asterisk (*) to include all locations

The Patient Hospital Rounds summary screen shows every patient that is currently admitted and has a hospital record stored for the selected doctor/location(s). The Visit (date of service), Procedure, and Diag information is based on the last posted charge. You can edit, print, delete, or review a hospital record in detail, by clicking anywhere on the row containing the hospital record information.

Click Admit in the Action Column to add a hospital record to the list. For detailed information on entering and maintaining the hospital record stored in the patient's account, see the Hospitalization DMS record.

Click Print in the Action Column to print the list.
