Type of Visit Table
By using Type of Visit codes, you can create standard codes for the various
types of appointments performed in your practice.
Type of Visit codes are used for:
- Categorizing appointment types when scheduling patient appointments.
- Providing a visual guide of the schedule to see where the different
types of appointments have been scheduled based on the color selected
for each code.
- Room Scheduling - indicate if a Room or other resource needs to
automatically be scheduled each time a specific type of visit code
is used.
- Entering Reserves into schedules.
- Scanning the schedule.
- Providing statistical information on reports.
- Establishing default Unit amounts for each code.
