Billing Group Table

By using Billing Group codes, you can create standard codes to group together patient accounts that have similar billing characteristics. For example: collection accounts; HMO insurance accounts; Medicare patient accounts; and mail-return accounts. You can also evaluate statistical information for each billing group, control the patient statement process, suppress specific billing groups from the collection process, and prevent patients in a billing group from scheduling appointments.
