Image Management Integration

With the Image Management Integration function, you can provide the information required prior to scanning images or accessing transcription files for CGM webPRACTICE. If your system contains multiple databases, this function only needs to be completed in one of the databases because it controls the set up for every database.

Get Images From Directory Type the drive letter and temporary image directory name. For example, 'C:\TempImages\'. Substitute the drive letter if needed. The drive letter should be the same drive that Cache is installed on. 40
Permanent Image Directory Type the drive letter and permanent image directory name. For example, 'C:\PermImages\'. Substitute the drive letter if needed. The drive letter should be the same drive that Cache is installed on. 40
Transcription Directory Type the drive letter and transcription directory. For example, 'C:\Transcription\'. Substitute the drive letter if needed. The drive letter should be the same drive that Cache is installed on.   40
Security Level to Delete Type the security level required for a user to be able to delete images. 1
Security Level to Copy Type the security level required for a user to be able to copy images from one patient account to another. 1

CGM webPRACTICE will complete the internal setup after you click Save. Additional folders will be set up in the C:\TempImages\ folder for each namespace and database set up within CGM webPRACTICE.
Images should be scanned into the C:\TempImages\9999_1 folder. Replace C:\ with your drive letter, 9999 with your client number and replace the number 1 with your database number.
