Move Patients to Inactive File

With the Move Patients to Inactive File function, you can move every patient account that has a zero balance and has had no activity since the date specified, to the inactive patient file.

Move all patients with no activity since	Type the date you want or click the calendar icon to select a date. The date defaulted will be exactly one year prior to the current date. This field will not accept a date that is NOT at least 90 days prior to the current date.		10

A screen will display the status of the process and, when complete, how many accounts were inactivated. The time required will vary depending on the speed of your server and the number of registered patient accounts.

Accounts that have been moved to the inactive file will remain in CGM webPRACTICE but will not appear on any printed reports or patient listings other than those printed using the List Inactive Patients or Print All Data for Inactive Patients functions.

If you move a patient account to the inactive file by mistake, you may reactivate that patient using the Reactivate Inactive Patient function.
