Copy RVS Schedules

With the Copy RVS Schedules function, you can update an RVS Schedule by copying the unit values from one RVS Schedule effective date into another effective date, within the same database. This function eliminates the need to manually type the procedure codes and unit values into new RVS Schedules. It is not necessary to create a new RVS Schedule for the new effective date prior to using the Copy function. It will automatically create the RVS Schedule with the new effective date you specify.

For information about the steps involved in the yearly update process, see the RVS Schedule Setup Process under the Introduction, System Processes help section.

If you plan on importing the current RVS schedule you do not need to perform the Copy function. The Import RVU's function automatically creates the RVS Schedule with the new effective date you specify. You should use this process to save large quantities of data entry time and ensure the accuracy of the data loaded. This will load the unit values for every procedure code stored in your Procedure Code Table into the RVS schedule.

Upon accessing this function, the Copy RVS Schedules screen displays containing blank data fields.
