Sorted Diagnosis Analysis by Location and Date of Service

With the Sorted Diagnosis Analysis by Location and Date of Service function, you can print a report that provides a detailed analysis of diagnosis posted for patient procedures performed by the practice, sorted by location and then by date of service. The data generated is based on the diagnosis stored for each procedure when it was originally posted.

If you receive this Warning Message: 'The report is already running. Do you wish to restart it?', that means this function had been previously accessed but for some reason the report did not finish or a report is currently in the process of calculating.

Selecting Diagnosis Codes:
There are four methods available for selecting diagnosis codes.
You can use one of these methods or a combination of them to select the codes.

If you need to delete a code in the selected list, type the code in the individual diagnosis code box and click Delete at the bottom of the screen.

If you frequently run this report using the same diagnosis codes each time, you can save them in a Diagnosis list. This will allow you to use the pre-defined list in the future instead of entering each code individually. Type in a List Name and Description in the lower portion of the screen and click Save List, after you have selected all the codes. You may also merge the selected codes with an existing list or replace an existing list if needed.

Sample Report
The total number of patients and the total number of entries per diagnosis code will be printed for each date of service and these figures may not match. For example: one patient could have three office visits during the time frame selected which would account for more entries than the number of patients.

A diagnosis code summary page will print next, which reflects: the total number of patients and entries per date of service, the total procedure amount, and the total amounts paid and adjusted.

A date of service summary page will print at the end of the report. If you do not select 'Print Detail of Patients', only the diagnosis code and date of service summary pages will print.
