Turn Over Functions

The Turn Over Functions menu provides the following functions which you can use to transfer patient accounts to any third party collection agency defined in the Collection Agency Table:

Turning over accounts to a collection agency is a multi-step process.
  1. Review the accounts in the Review for Collection Turn Over collection status by printing the Review for Turn Over Report.
  2. Update the collection status codes on the accounts after they have been approved for turn over to a collection agency, using the Work Accounts function.
  3. Post a collection fee to the accounts that are being turned over to a collection agency using the Create Collection Fee function, if applicable.
  4. Create a hard-copy record of the accounts that are being turned over to a collection agency by printing the Third Party Turn Over Report.
  5. Move the approved accounts to the collection database and write-off the delinquent balances using the Move Accounts to Collection Database function.
  6. Print the Turn Over History Report for your records.
