With the User Database Access function, you can control which database(s)
a specific user can access and use. You would only use this function if
a user should have access to only certain databases; otherwise a user
automatically has access to all databases as long as the Allow Database
Change check box is selected in Maintain
Users for the user name.
Upon accessing this function, select the User you want from the User
Code list.

For information on how to change databases, see Desktop
Basics. If the user tries to access a database that they do not have
access to use, a message displays stating, 'Your user code does not permit
change to this database.'
NOTE: This restriction check does not occur when
the user signs on. It only occurs when the user attempts to change databases.
Therefore, when the user logs in, it automatically signs on to the database
stored in the Database Number field in Maintain
Users for their user name.
